Bird brain

Yep, that's my sink: a safe haven for our feathered friends, and the bird flus they help spread. I threaten the above winged menace daily, but for some reason, he is still on the loose. His method for beating the heat is pretty effective though; dosing himself in water that I pre-poison for just such occasions.

I had a heart...

It's been a while since I've been in a hospital as a patient. In fact, I can't even remember the last time. Hopefully, it'll be just as long until I return. For the past 3 or 4 days, I've been having some heart beat discomfort. Beating fast, heavy, and altogether strange. My girlfriend convinced me it was worth checking into the hospital for, and in hindsight, I agree. Scary place on a Saturday though, no doubt. Junkies abound. Not to mention inmates in cuffs and whatnot. I'm not big on needles, but it wasn't so bad when compared to donating blood (THAT needle is insanely large).

Anyway, long story short, i'm all good. Apparently, this kind of thing can come and go. In fact, my solution on Saturday night was to do some binge drinking at a wedding... and today, I seem to be all better! Lesson learned: heart problems? Chug vodka!
